ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY
First Nations Health and Wellbeing – The Lowitja Journal acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters of Australia and the Torres Strait. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have had structured systems for passing on knowledge for millennia, and have used resources from the land and waters for nourishment, medicine and healing. We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands where our offices are located and that sovereignty has not been ceded.
